Pedestrian struck by van dies Police name man killed in crash

A man has died following a road accident in County Antrim. A man who died when he was hit by van in County Antrim on Thursday morning was Hugh Atcheson.
The man was walking along the Galgorm Road in Ahoghill shortly after 0730 GMT on Thursday when he was hit by a van. Mr Atcheson, was 70 and from Gloonan Hill in Ahoghill.
The identity of the deceased has not been released by police. He was fatally injured as he walked on the Glagorm Road close to his home at around 0730 GMT.
