A search has been launched for the crew of a yacht found unmanned and anchored with the engine running 200 yards off the coast of Cornwall. Coastguards have called off a search for the crew of an unmanned yacht found anchored off the coast of Cornwall.
The search was launched on Saturday after the craft was found empty with the engine running off Mullion on the Lizard peninsula.

Its previous owner believed two crew members were taking the craft to Wales. Two crew members were believed to be taking the yacht to Wales. Police were trying to contact the owner's family.
The alarm was raised after a lifeboat was sent to the craft, off Mullion on the Lizard peninsula, as it was feared the boat could drag its anchor. The yacht was bought a week ago in Cornwall.
'Big swell'

A Falmouth coastguard spokesman said there was "quite a big swell" running together with a winds of about 28 mph.
Rescuers first tried to attract the attention of a crew yacht and maroons were set off but there was no response.
The Penlee lifeboat attended the boat and found no one aboard.
Coastguard shore teams from Mullion and nearby Porthleven searched the shoreline, while the Penlee and Lizard lifeboats carried out a sea search.
Two Royal Navy rescue helicopter were also on the scene.
The search was called off on Saturday afternoon and the yacht was being towed to Newlyn harbour for inspection.
Devon and Cornwall Police were trying to make contact with family or friends of the new owner.
