Ms Finlay, who was 24, was found in Hill Street, Ballymena in September 2006. He wrapped her naked body in duvet and using a child's buggy wheeled her to car park in Hill Street where she was dumped behind a wall
During his trial, the court heard that many hard facts linked Ms Finlay's death to his flat. Miss Finlay's foster mother Mary Corry said she was pleased with the 20 years tariff.
She also praised the police for their work in bringing Gorski to justice.
Delivering the sentence Mr Justice Hart described the killing as "a brutal murder."
He said Gorski's motives can only be a matter of speculation because there was no evidence of sexual contact.
During his trial, the court heard that many hard facts linked Ms Finlay's death to Gorski's flat.
