One of the women, aged 44, was stabbed twice after going to the aid of a 19-year-old woman on the Runcorn-Widnes bridge on Tuesday night. Minutes after the stabbings, a third woman - a relative of the teenager - was punched at a house in Runcorn. The teenager, who is also charged with section 18 assault, will appear before Halton magistrates on Saturday. Both stab victims were taken to Whiston Hospital where they underwent surgery on Wednesday. The third victim, 45, was taken to hospital with facial injuries and has since been released. |
