A bomb has exploded near a KFC restaurant in the north-western Pakistani city of Peshawar, police say. At least three people are reported to have been killed in a bomb attack in the Pakistani city of Peshawar.

Police official Gohar Zaman was quoted by the Associated Press as saying that the Peshawar blast occurred in an area where many lawyers have offices, near a well-known KFC fast-food restaurant. Speaking about the Peshawar blast, the region's information minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain said: "It seems that the explosives were planted in the car, and it exploded through a remote control."
Several people were seen clinging to windows in one building that was on fire, shouting for help.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
