Raiders have grabbed a collection of dresses designed by Victoria Beckham as it was being driven to Heathrow Airport, her spokesman has said. The singer-turned-designer was said to be "shocked and upset" when she heard the driver had been pushed to the ground by the robbers. It is thought the delivery van may have been followed as part of a planned operation. She said the police were investigating the incident. The ex-Spice Girl's spokesman said it is hoped the collection can be remade in time for their sale in New York. Dozens of dresses, destined for sale at Neiman Marcus in New York, had been collected from the offices of 19 Entertainment, in west London, on Thursday. When the driver returned from making a delivery, the van's padlocks were broken and two men burst out of the back of the van carrying two large boxes of dresses. The driver was left shaken and bruised as he was knocked down when the men barged past. |
