Three hurt as vehicle leaves road One dead and one injured in crash

One man had to be cut free and two others were also injured after a vehicle left the road and ended up upside down in a bog. One of three men travelling in a car which left the road in mid Wales on Sunday has died, say police.
The incident was on Sunday afternoon on the A487 at Derwenlas, near Machynlleth, close to the border of Powys and Gwynedd. Their Ford Fiesta ended up on its roof in a bog after the driver lost control on the A487 between Glan Dyfi and Machynlleth.
Mid and West Fire and Rescue Service said one vehicle was involved in the incident, reported at 1441 GMT. The incident happened close to the border of Powys and Ceredigion.
Three crews, two from Machynlleth, and one from Aberystwyth, attended. Another man from the vehicle is in a "stable" condition with serious injuries at Bronglais hospital in Aberystwyth, while a third was unhurt.
Mid and West Fire and Rescue Service said three crews, two from Machynlleth, and one from Aberystwyth, were alerted at 1441 GMT on Sunday.
The road was closed and diversions were put in place. It eventually reopened at about 2130 GMT.
Witnessed to the crash are being asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police's Mid Wales roads policing unit on 101.
