Plaid leader Ieuan Wyn Jones, who will retain his position as deputy first minister and the minister responsible for the economy and transport, later appeared with Carwyn Jones on the steps of the offices in Cathays Park.
Mr Jones said: "We know a lot of work has been done with the [Labour-Plaid coalition] One Wales government and I look forward very much to continue to fulfil the commitments that are in the agreement, particularly, of course, the good work that has been done in taking the referendum forward."
