The fog at Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports caused huge delays to flights, officials have confirmed. | |
By 1600 GMT on Friday, Prestwick Airport had handled ten flights diverted from Edinburgh or Glasgow with more expected over the weekend. | |
Prestwick also handled flights from Liverpool, Southampton, Kirkwall, Sumburgh and Stornoway amongst others. | |
Fog in other parts of the UK, including London and Orkney, also affected outgoing flights from Edinburgh. | |
