The school was earlier organising a coach to transport parents to their children.
Acting headteacher Ralph Surman said: "This news is terrible and our thoughts are with the children, teachers and parents of the injured.
"The emergency services have been outstanding and close contact is being kept with all the families involved.
"A range of Local Authority services are at the school to support the children and families of the non-injured."
