One person has died after an incident on a mountain in the Highlands. A climber has died in an accident on a mountain in the Highlands.
Mountain rescue teams were called at about 1655 GMT after a report of a fall near to the Three Sisters Gully in Glencoe. Mountain rescue teams were called at about 1655 GMT after a report of a fall in an area known as the Lost Valley in the Three Sisters Gully in Glencoe.
Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team and police attended after initial reports that two people were involved. One climber, who has not been identified, sustained fatal injuries and a man was taken to Belford Hospital in Fort William for treatment.
Following rescue efforts, it has been reported that one of those involved sustained fatal injuries. No further details were available, police said. Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team and police were called to the scene to help with the rescue.
