Four British men are to appear in a Cypriot court in connection with the death of a teenager in the tourist resort of Ayia Napa.

The men - all from Essex - were charged last month with murder, attempted murder and conspiracy to kill.

Moped passenger Christos Papiris, 17, was killed in the incident and the driver seriously injured.

Julian Harrington, 38, Luke Atkinson, 22, Michael Binnington, 21, and James Goodwin, 21, will appear in Paralimni.

The charges carry possible life sentences under Cypriot law, said the BBC's Tabitha Morgan, in Cyprus.
