But they never met in person until they appeared in court together.
Between them, George, Allen and Blanchard pleaded guilty in October to nearly 40 charges.
PARENTS IN COURT Matt Pengelly
Court 1 at Bristol Crown Court this morning was a tense and tearful place.
About a dozen parents from Little Ted's Nursery made the long trip to this court to see Vanessa George, the woman who betrayed all their trusts, being sentenced.
They sat just a few feet away from where she sat in the dock.
In the middle of that group was George's husband Andrew, smartly suited, firing occasional looks at his estranged wife.
Judge Mr Justice Royce called the indecent images of young children shared between the three defendants "chilling".
In one e-mail George said she and Blanchard were the "perfect paedophile couple".
George has admitted seven sexual assaults on children and six counts of distributing and making indecent pictures of children.
Allen pleaded guilty to four child sex assaults and one count of distributing an indecent image.
Blanchard pleaded guilty to 17 offences relating to indecent images of children and two sexual assaults on children. He also admitted a further charge of possessing extreme pornography.
Parents of children at Little Ted's Nursery were sitting a few feet away from George in court, alongside her husband Andrew.
