An explosion has rocked a town in central Pakistan, causing a number of casualties, officials say. At least 10 people have been killed in a bomb attack in the central Pakistani town of Dera Ghazi Khan, officials say.
The blast happened in Dera Ghazi Khan in Punjab province. More than 20 others were wounded in the blast which badly damaged a number of buildings, causing parts to collapse.
Officials say the target was senior provincial government adviser Zulfiqar Khosa, although he was unhurt. Several shops were destroyed, witnesses said.
