Two people have been seriously injured when a bus overturned in south-west London. Four people have been seriously injured when a double-decker bus overturned in south-west London.
The double-decker was in collision with a lorry in Clapham at about 0830 GMT. Fire crews had to cut a number of passengers out of the bus, which was in collision with a lorry in Clapham at about 0830 GMT.
A London Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the two seriously hurt people had been taken to hospital. Other people have been treated at the scene. A police spokesman said four people, including the bus driver, had been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The London Fire Brigade said firefighters used cutting equipment to free three people who were trapped on the bus. Another 17 have been treated in hospital for minor injuries.
The crash happened at the junction of Plough Road and St John's Hill.
There were about 25 people on board the bus at the time.
A Transport for London spokesman said: "The police and emergency services are attending the scene and we are working closely with them.
"There will be a full investigation into this incident."
