Husband in court over stab death

A man has appeared in court charged with murdering his wife in Hertfordshire.

Amad Jumaily, 59, of Field Lane, Letchworth, is accused of murdering June Jumaily, 46, who was found with stab wounds on 23 December.

She died in Lister Hospital in Stevenage later that day.

Mr Jumaily appeared before magistrates in Hatfield and was remanded in custody to appear before Luton Crown Court on 5 January.
