Glengormley fire station commander, Mark Beresford, said it was believed the blaze had started accidentally. | |
Mr Beresford said it was after 1100 GMT when the Fire and Rescue Service got a call to say there had been a house fire fatality, and by that stage the blaze was "all but extinguished". | |
He said the victim had tried to escape from the fire in the living room, but had collapsed and died a short time later. | |
