Three in court over road incident

Three men are due to appear in a Belfast court to face a number of charges, including having an offensive weapon and going equipped.

One of the men is also accused of a number of driving offences.

It follows an incident when a car left the M2 motorway between Belfast and Sandyknowes roundabout early on Sunday.

A female police officer was injured and three police cars were damaged. Two women arrested at the scene were released pending police reports.
