Members of Ms Harrison and Maisie's toddler group laid flowers and toys near the scene of the shooting before lighting candles and praying in memory of them at nearby St Michael the Archangel Church, according to its vicar the Reverend James Martin.
"It is really just a shock [that] it has happened and the toddler group decided that this is what they would like to do," he said
"If anger and resentment goes unchecked, it can happen at any time of the year."
Mr Martin added that deaths at this time of year were more poignant.
He went on to say he would be offering prayers and support to anyone in the community, which he described as stable.
