Version 0 of 1.

Two crew members of a yacht which capsized off the north Kent coast have been pulled out of the sea by a rescue helicopter from Belgium.

The helicopter and Margate lifeboat were sent to Hook Sands after a mayday call was received from the 40ft yacht Justice which ran aground at 0500 GMT.

The lifeboat towed the yacht off the sands, between Herne Bay and Margate, but it had taken in water and sank.

The crew members were taken to hospital in Margate and later discharged.

The Maritime and Coastguard Agency said the two people, who had been travelling from Ramsgate to the Thames, were uninjured.

Dover Coastguard, which received the mayday call, also sent the Margate Coastguard Rescue Team to the scene.
