Version 0 of 1.

A fatal accident inquiry is being held into the death of an Aberdeenshire schoolgirl, hit by a vehicle moments after she stepped off a school bus.

Robyn Oldham, 15, was killed in the incident in 2008 at Birkenhills, south of Turriff.

Her family said it hoped the inquiry, due in February, would lead to safety road improvements.

The incident had led to calls for ministers to make changes to current road safety law.
