First carriages moved from wreck Train crash recovery to take days

Engineers have been working through the night to move carriages from the site of last week's train crash in Cumbria. Engineers will take at least five days to lift derailed carriages from the scene of the Cumbrian rail tragedy.
A 1,000 tonne crane has been lifting the vehicles on to low loaders at the Grayrigg site near Tebay. One carriage has been lifted on to a loader following overnight work and the second will be moved later, said British Transport Police.
