Version 0 of 1.

Work is set to resume at the world's second biggest copper mine after workers voted to end a strike over pay.

Workers at the Chuquicamata mining complex in Chile have accepted a new pay deal and a bonus from owners Codelco - ending two days of strikes.

Concern over the stoppage's affect on production had helped copper prices to soar to 16-months highs.

Chuquicamata provides around 4% of the world's mined copper, with Codelco the biggest copper producer in the world.

Market reaction to the news was muted, however, with copper prices rising by another 1% on Wednesday - reaching a new 16-month high on the London Metal Exchange.
