Police are attending a security alert at London's Heathrow Airport, a spokesman has said. Police have arrested three people following a security alert at London's Heathrow Airport.
Armed officers boarded the Dubai-bound Emirates flight after verbal threats were reported to have been made and members of the air crew alerted police.
The Metropolitan Police said the three people arrested were in custody.
The incident comes amid heightened tension at airports across the world following the unsuccessful Christmas Day bombing attempt.

It is being reported that there have been two arrests and the remaining passengers are still on the jet.
