Police are continuing to question a man after two adults and two children died in a road crash on the A1 in North Yorkshire on Saturday.
Five other people were hurt in the accident, close to the village of Kirkby Fleetham, near Catterick.
An eight-year-old boy was taken to the James Cook Memorial Hospital by the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Both carriageways were closed for most of the day between the A66 junction and Leeming Bar.
All four fatalities were in a Citroen Saxo which was travelling south on the trunk route.

Insp Nigel Slater added: "We can confirm that, unfortunately, there are four fatalities from one of the vehicles, a Citroen Saxo.
