Just after midnight a man was killed in an accident on the B9161 on the Black Isle. No other vehicles were involved. The crash happened between the A9 at Artafallie and the village of Munlochy at about 0015 GMT. The driver was the only person in the car. The A908 in Clackmannanshire was closed until about 0200 GMT while police carried out investigations. Police could not yet say how many people were in the other car or give the age of the woman who died. They appealed for information from any witnesses. |
