Two facing court over stab death

Two men accused of murdering a man who was stabbed in his Sunderland home are due in court later.

Keith Redpath, 46, was discovered on Tower Street West in Hendon with a chest wound early on Saturday.

Ryan Ferguson, 18, and Anthony Ferguson, 34, both from Sunderland, are due before magistrates later.

Mr Redpath, a roofer who had lived in Hendon for two months, died in hospital from a single stab wound to the chest, police revealed.
