Oracle boss in 'billboard affair'
http://news.bbc.co.uk/go/rss/-/1/hi/business/8475347.stm Version 0 of 1. The president of business software firm Oracle has admitted having an affair - after billboards showing the couple mysteriously appeared. "I had an eight and a half year serious relationship with YaVaughnie Wilkins," Charles Philips said. Billboards showing Mr Phillips and Ms Wilkins have appeared in New York, Atlanta and San Francisco. They led to much speculation on internet blogs as to what was behind the billboards. "My divorce proceedings began in 2008," Mr Philips said. "The relationship with Ms Wilkins has since ended and we both wish each other well." The billboards had a picture of the couple with the words "Charles & YaVaughnie". The billboard in New York's Times Square had the words "You are my soulmate forever!" It was signed "cep" - an apparent reference to Charles E Philips. The posters linked to a website, which had a collection of photos of Mr Philips and Ms Wilkins going back as far back as 2001, as well as what appeared to be love notes between the couple. The identity of the person behind the billboards has not yet been revealed. |
