Arrest after sex attack near club

A 19-year-old man has been questioned by police in connection with an alleged sex attack on a woman in Swansea city centre during a night out.

Police said a 20-year-old woman reported being assaulted near the Essence club on The Kingsway, Swansea, at around 0130 GMT on Friday.

Detectives issued an appeal for information following the incident.

A man from Barry, Vale of Glamorgan, was arrested. He has been released on bail pending inquiries.
