Two men arrested over the attempted murder of a policeman in County Antrim have been released unconditionally.

Peadar Heffron was critically injured by a dissident republican car bomb on 8 January near his Randalstown home.

The 33-year-old Catholic, an Irish language specialist, had his right leg amputated following the explosion.

Two men, aged 33 and 34 were arrested in west and north Belfast on Monday. They were both released without charge on Tuesday.
