Man charged over pub attack death

A 22-year-old man has been charged with the manslaughter of a man who was injured in an attack outside a Blackpool pub. The man was arrested on Saturday after walking into a police station in Blackpool, police said. He is due before the town's magistrates on Monday. Tony Pepper, 45, was found with head and facial injuries outside the Devonshire Arms pub in North Shore on Wednesday. He was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital where he died on Friday. |
