Man in court over woman's murder

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a Polish woman at her home in South Yorkshire.

The body of Agnieszka Dziegielewska, 30, was discovered in the bathroom of her home in Horsefair Close, Swinton, on 28 January.

Hossein Abdollahzadeh, 32, of Maple Road, Mexborough, appeared before Rotherham magistrates on Wednesday.

He was remanded in custody and will appear again at Sheffield Crown Court on Friday.

Ms Dziegielewska moved to the UK four years ago from Bialystok in north-east Poland.
