Bail on shop centre death charge

A 25-year-old man has appeared before magistrates in Swansea charged with unlawfully killing a man at the city's Quadrant shopping centre. The solicitor for Sam Joshua Bawden, from Neath, told the court he would enter a not guilty plea. Aaron Charles Bishop, 23, died after an alleged incident in the city's main shopping precinct on July 30 last year. Mr Bawden was remanded on unconditional bail and will appear at Swansea Crown Court later this month. He spoke only to confirm his name an address during the brief hearing. |
