Andrew Jenkins, the Carlisle United chairman, said: "I didn't see anything apart from fans coming on to the pitch. Ch Insp Mark Pannone, who led the policing operation at the match, claimed the situation was dealt with "swiftly and robustly".
"But after the match, nobody from Leeds or elsewhere came forward and told me of any incidents. He said: "The job of the police is to support the stewards, to prevent disorder and respond to incidents as they occur, which is exactly what we did.
"In fact we were talking to the safety officer and he never said anything about it. 'Text-book fashion'
