A false limbs expert who allegedly fitted a left prosthetic foot to a man's right leg is due to appear before a disciplinary committee. An artificial limbs specialist who fitted a left foot to a patient who had lost his right leg has been struck off.
The Health Professions Council will consider complaints against Malcolm Griffiths relating to his time at Edinburgh's Astley Ainslie Hospital. Malcolm Griffiths admitted 16 charges relating to 11 patients at a rehabilitation clinic in Edinburgh.
