Irish police are investigating the death of a man found in the hallway of an apartment complex in Mullingar. The man found dead in the hallway of an apartment complex in Mullingar, County Westmeath, was originally from Tyrone.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was discovered in the Grove Court apartments in the centre of the County Westmeath town at 0700 GMT on Monday. He has been identified locally as Anthony Kelly, from Strabane.
Police are treating his death as suspicious. Fine Gael councillor Ruth Illingworth said she understood the man was originally from Northern Ireland. The body of Mr Kelly, who was known as Tony, was discovered in the Grove Court apartments in the centre of Mullingar at 0700 GMT on Monday.
