Staci Hargreaves, 33, allegedly attacked Gavin Taylor, 28, in the back of a taxi in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, on 7 February.

Miss Hargreaves, of Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, is charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

She was granted bail at Bradford Crown Court until 29 April.

A provisional date of 19 July was set at the court for Miss Hargreaves's trial.

Mr Taylor, also of Stalybridge, is still recovering in hospital after the incident.

The stiletto penetrated Mr Taylor's eye socket and touched his brain, police said.
