A woman has been charged with murdering a three-year-old girl, believed to be her daughter, as detectives investigate whether acid was involved in the death. A woman has appeared in court accused of murdering a three-year-old girl, believed to be her daughter.
Iman Omar Yousef, 24, from Birmingham, was charged late on Tuesday evening and is due to appear before Sutton Magistrates' Court at 1000 GMT. Police are investigating whether acid played a part in the girl's death.
The child, understood to be called Alia Ahmed Jama, was found at a house in Milverton Road, Erdington, on Saturday. Iman Omar Yousef, 24, from Birmingham, was charged on Tuesday evening and was remanded in custody after appearing before Sutton Magistrates' Court.
