'Attack' at western German school One dead in German school attack

German police are evacuating a school in the western city of Ludwigshafen, where one person has been reported seriously injured in an attack. An assailant has killed a teacher at a school in the western German city of Ludwigshafen, police say.
The vocational school has been sealed off by a large contingent of police. Police have evacuated the school and arrested a 23-year-old suspect, German media report. The incident happened at about 1000 local time (0900 GMT).
Details of the incident are not yet clear. A police spokesman said "one person is seriously injured". Some reports say several teachers were attacked in a "rampage". It is not yet clear what weapon was used.
There are unconfirmed reports that an attacker is still inside the school. The vocational school in the Mundenheim district has more than 3,200 pupils. It has been sealed off by police.
The premises has also been searched by police. Normally 130 teachers work there.
