A 20-year-old man has died and another was injured after colliding with a car while tobogganing on a plastic sheet.A 20-year-old man has died and another was injured after colliding with a car while tobogganing on a plastic sheet.
The pair had slid onto a road in the Ystrad Deri area of Tredegar in Blaenau Gwent. The pair had slid onto a road from a grass bank off Armoury Hill, near Ystrad Deri, Tredegar, Blaenau Gwent at around 1610 GMT on Sunday.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Gwent Police said he is still being questioned. The driver of the car they collided with did not stop and the men were found by a member of the public.
The friend of the man who died is currently in a stable condition in hospital. Gwent Police said a 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The 20-year-old man, from the Bettws area, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The the other man, 23, from the Tredegar area, suffered head injuries and is described as being in a stable condition at Nevill Hall Hospital.
