He said: "But frustratingly we are also finding even recently, only last week, people who are on Claudia's route to work in Melrosegate are waiting for the police to come to them and when we knock on their door they expressed that.
"My appeal tonight is please, if you were in that area on the 19th March between 5am and 6am please come forward."

Det Supt Ray Galloway said: "Tonight's Crimewatch appeal sends a clear message to those involved in Claudia's disappearance that the investigation is still very much active and that we will not give up until we find out what has happened to her. The investigation into her disappearance has included numerous appeals for information and an ongoing campaign by her father, Peter Lawrence.
"Someone, somewhere knows exactly what happened to Claudia and we urge them to put an end to the distress of her family, do the right thing and come forward. Mr Lawrence, 63, also spoke on the Crimewatch programme.
"We also appeal to anyone who thinks someone close to them may be responsible for her disappearance, to please come forward and contact the police or Crimestoppers." He said: "It's Claudia's 36th birthday on Saturday and of course for the past 35 birthdays she's been with us so it's a very difficult time."
Peter Lawrence, 63, who will also appear on the Crimewatch programme, has said he will not give up his campaign until his daughter is found. Mr Lawrence will mark the eve of her 36th birthday on 27 February by holding an awareness day in York on Friday.
