One person has been killed after a vehicle left a main road and went down an embankment, the Wales Ambulance Service reports. Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was killed when his silver Peugeot car left a main road and went down an embankment.

The road is closed in both directions and North Wales Police are attending. The road, which was closed in both directions, is due to reopen.
The force said it has no further information about how long the road would remain closed. North Wales Police said an investigation was on going to establish the exact time of the crash.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the car travelling along the road.
