Man charged with murdering woman

A 68-year-old man has been charged with murdering a woman in East Yorkshire.

Jill Rosemary Ault, 63, died in an ambulance after an incident at her home on Waterway Garth in Pollington, Goole, on Friday morning.

David Gerald Ault, also of Waterway Garth, who was arrested at the scene, was charged with murder on Saturday, Humberside Police said.

Mr Ault will be held in custody until he appears before Beverley magistrates on Monday.
