Two men are being questioned after a robbery at a KFC take-away restaurant in Denbighshire.

North Wales Police said staff were left shocked but uninjured after the raid at Rhuddlan at 2300 GMT on Saturday.

One man climbed through a serving hatch window to steal cash from tills before escaping on foot.

A 44-year-old man was later arrested, along with another man, 21, and both are being questioned by detectives at St Asaph.

Police are appealing for any witnesses and are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen a blue transit-type van in the area.
