The last confirmed sighting of Ms McLaren was in Marketgait East, close to its junction with King Street, at about 0300 GMT on 25 February. She had been on a night out in Dundee with her sister.
More than 50 officers are now working on the case.
Det Ch Insp McKillop, who is leading the investigation, said officers were building up a picture of Ms McLaren's movements on the night of her disappearance, but appealed for anyone else with information to come forward.

He said: "We still need assistance from members of the public to tell us where Mary went after she was last seen near King Street.
"I would urge anyone who has any information, no matter how trivial they think that information might be, to get in touch with us.
Ms McLaren, who walks with a limp, is described as being 5ft 2in, with long brown hair and blue eyes.
On the night she went missing she was wearing a distinctive black-and-white pattered dress, black leggings, a white duffel coat and flat black shoes.
She was carrying a small black handbag and a pink inflatable adult toy.
Det Ch Insp McKillop added: ''As time passes, concern for Mary's safety is growing.
"There have been no confirmed sightings of her, and she has failed to contact any family members or friends.
"This is completely out of character for Mary and her family are understandably deeply distressed and worried."
