She was the fourth person to be arrested by the force's Anti-Terrorist Unit in the last month. She is accused of "making available" a total of £3,996 to 26-year-old Habib Ahmed on 11 and 12 May this year.
Her arrest is not thought to be linked to the alleged plot to blow up transatlantic airliners. Mr Ahmed, also from Cheetham Hill, has been charged with collecting or making a record of potential terrorist targets.
Two other people were arrested as part of the same police operation, but were later released.
Greater Manchester Police said they were looking at "terrorist financing, travel patterns and individuals attending terrorist training camps abroad".
And suspected links to banned radical Islamic group al-Muhajiroun were also being examined, police said.
The Manchester arrests are not being linked to the alleged plot to blow up transatlantic airliners.
