UKcerberus writes: I just don't see the point of the leaders' debate. These characters are trained and educated to debate until the cows come home. They know that whatever they say - even as election promises - they don't need to keep those promises if they get into power. If there was a law MAKING them keep their pre-election promises, maybe we would see some truth come out. So, we're going to end up with a trio of show-offs demonstrating how wonderfully they can talk, and viewing figures that the TV company will be delighted with. It's a con. A total con. | |
