Quick run-down for you on the format for tonight. It's a 90-minute debate - 45 minutes on domestic affairs, the rest on other topics. Each leader gets a one-minute opening statement and another 90 seconds at the end to sum up. In theory, no clapping or booing from the audience is allowed during the debate, but will the good people of Manchester be silenced? I doubt it! The debate won't be like a football match, nobody will win or lose. It's about voters gradually forming an impression, working out what they think about these men and what they have to say, says the BBC's political editor Nick Robinson.
