Mr Brown is asked whether he will agree with Nick Clegg less often in future TV debates. In a sideswipe at Mr Clegg and David Cameron, the PM replies that his judgement will be the issue, rather than his presentational skills. The BBC's fabulous fashionista Claire Williams presents her daily musings on candidate couture. It's time for Tiewatch. Ms Williams, sporting a tealady-chic floral dress, purrs: "Nick Clegg kicked off his day this morning modelling a tie of the softest lavender. The colour suggests grace and refinement. Could it be that in the face of his high poll ratings Clegg is keen to show his modest side?" She adds: "Meanwhile, David Cameron has also gone for pastel hues - wearing a cornflower blue neckpiece at a speech in Kennington, London. Gordon Brown also picked up on the pastel theme - he's stepped out in a navy tie with cherry-blossom pink diagonal stripes which is strikingly spring-like." With that, our doyenne of design departs.
