Boy charged over 'gun incidents'

A teenage schoolboy has been charged after fellow children were allegedly shot with a ball bearing gun in Aberdeen.

Police were called in last week after the reports at Cults Academy.

Officers were investigating claims that one pupil was hit in the face and another was hit in the chest.

Grampian Police said: "Regarding the alleged discharge of a BB gun within Cults Academy, a teenage boy has been charged. Enquiries are ongoing."
